In order to increase awareness of very rarely reported events by the UK media, I'm proposing we collectively inform various news websites as to notable incidents of armed self-defence as they arise. We should aim to do this in a relatively short period as they are reported to increase the chances of selected story being picked up on.

Here is an example:

I have sent e-mails so far to the BBC and to The Sun. In the up and coming days I will send e-mails to all these news outlets.

I only just saw this thread. Seems like it would be worth a try. I take it from the abense of further posts that non of the media contacted did anything about it. Perhaps if more than two people had sent the story in ...
